Graduate student/post-doc Travel Award
A number of Graduate Student/Post-doc Travel Awards valued at $1500 SGD will be given out to defray the cost for young scientists to attend the event. Awards will be competitively selected from submitted abstracts. Winning abstracts will receive the Awards and present a 25-min talk during the Symposium to elaborate on their research findings. The requirements for submission are as follows:
| Eligibility: | Current graduate students/post-docs working in the area of ADMET (Email support from advisor is required for participation). |
| Submission: | Complete the following application electronically. |
| Abstract style: | Abstract must written in English and organized into 4 headings: background/introduction, method, results and conclusion (< 300 words) |
| Selection: | Abstracts will be shortlisted by a review panel, following which a phone interview will be arranged in early August 2009. |
| Presentation: | Award recipients will prepare a 25-min oral presentation in powerpoint format. Travel arrangements will be made by recipients and the Awards will be presented during the Symposium (cash award with plaque and certificate of participation). |
| Deadline: | In view of submission delays due to H1N1 flu outbreak, deadline is now extended to 15th August 2009 |
