FAQs

  1. What is the length of the residency?
    Ans: The residency is a full-time, one-year practice commitment that spans 52weeks.

  2. Must I be a licensed pharmacist in Singapore order to be eligible for the residency?
    Ans: Candidates must be registered to practice Pharmacy in Singapore by the time the candidate commences the residency. For eligibility and licensure requirements, please refer to the Singapore Pharmacy Council website.

  3. How many residency programmes are offered? How many positions are available?
    Ans: Currently, the Hematology/Oncology Specialized Residency is the only residency available. Two positions will be available for each intake of this residency.

  4. Will the resident receive a diploma or degree upon completion of the residency?
    Ans: Upon completion of the residency, the resident will receive a certificate of completion from NUS Pharmacy.
