Background
The purpose is to cover the developments in various aspects of nanomedicine, from laboratory research to translating novel ideas to clinical trials and eventually to the market. The workshop will provide an opportunity for participants to learn from experts in the broad field of nanomedicine as well as a platform for the exchange of cutting-edge ideas and knowledge.
Audience
Anyone who has an interest in nanomedicine, including researchers and trainees from academia, industry and government agencies with various backgrounds including, but not limited to, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Medicine, Life Sciences, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, are welcome to participate. The official language for the workshop is English.

plus other invited and contributing speakers from local and overseas. Poster sessions will be included in the workshop as well.
The program will have 6 scientific sessions that cover the following topics:
- Fabrication and characterizations of nanomaterials
- Nanomaterials in drug delivery and biomedical applications
- Diagnostics and imaging; biosensors and devices
- Tissue engineering and regenerative medicine
- Regulation and toxicological aspects of nanomedicine
- Clinical developments and applications
Unique to this workshop, an interactive tutorial session with the experts will be held on each day during lunch to foster discussions and understanding on topics including safety, ethics and public perception of nanomedicine.
